“Treat the Earth well. It was not given to you by your parents; it was loaned to you by your children.”
It is everyone’s responsibility to protect the environment. Earth Day is an excellent opportunity for children to learn about our environment, nature, and ways to preserve our planet.
Taking care of the environment is everyone’s responsibility. Earth Day is a great time to teach preschoolers about our environment, nature, and ways to preserve our planet. It is celebrated to create awareness about protecting our planet and protecting the environment.
It is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment and protecting our world. One of the most important aspects of teaching Earth Day concepts to young children is to help them understand that they too can contribute to making the Earth a better world even at a young age.
Sand and Stars Kindergarten held an Earth Day for our children to make a significant contribution in saving the environment. Our creative children created the hungry caterpillar crafts by using egg cartons. They also played a waste sorting game in which they had to look for waste hidden around the school and sort the waste out into the correct bins. Through the activities, the children understood the concept and importance of 3Rs – reuse, reduce and recycle.
Sand & Stars Kindergarten teachers believe that our children can truly make a difference and teach habits they will carry on as they grow through this event. We also motivated the children to practise those 3Rs skills in taking care of the environment.
It is the right time for children to learn about the environment, how they can preserve it and why. It was a memorable day for children and teachers where together we learned about nature!
